Cassy Judy has really upped the stakes with her new EP release titled Seven Ways. As one of the most prolific and soon to be iconic up and coming artists out there, her new release continues to expand on her quirky, relatable style with seven catchy new tracks including six original songs.

Even while covering serious topics like lost love or plate tectonics, her sense of humour always shines through. This is a milestone in Cassy’s burgeoning music career as her unique sound continues to develop with ever increasing production values that always highlight her likeable personality in her music.

I Miss You is a whimsical, nostalgic, heartfelt look at lost love. I Don’t Want Anything From You is a catchy love song for the 21st century, with a kick-ass music video. Another Piece Of Ass expresses Cassy’s ambivalence about a lost relationship. When The World Was Flat reminisces about simpler, though arguably less geographically accurate, times. Love Of A Lifetime expresses the universal human desire for ongoing companionship. Calendar Girlz makes no sense to my cis male sensibilities, but it’s got some sick drums. We Remember Them seems appropriate given I’m posting this review on ANZAC day, lest you forget.

Cassy’s music is always a joy to listen to and she’s even more joyful live. Seven Ways continues the trend so do yourself a favour and check it out now on a streaming service near you and get to her Seven Ways EP launch event at The Red Rattler on 28th April 2022.
